WHAT HAPPENED?
Southgate called up 33 players for the two upcoming friendlies against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland but Tomori could not make a place for himself. After making his international debut in 2019, the defender has slipped down the pecking order and last appeared in November 2023 in a European Qualifier against North Macedonia.

Milan fans made their feelings known during a jersey signing session as they repeatedly chanted: "We love you Tomori, f*** Southgate”.
The defender had a hearty laugh and was spotted shaking his head in delight as the chants grew louder.
